  1. @Jonbrooks nice. I'm curious as the lighted grab bar. Stock? Aftermarket? Is it dimmable?
  2. The PO of our coach had 2 12V flooded lead acid marine for the house batteries. He also had a fair amount of genny hours (methinks bc he didn't have enough battery capacity). Everything worked fine and as long as you are spending most time on genny or shorepower, you'd be ok, but if planning on dry camping, you'll need the 4 6V for longer battery life. I just replaced them w 4 6v AGMs. It cost more, but I'm wanting to be able to use the genny less when able.
  3. Love the woodgrain. What's the gauge below the speedometer? And the 2 below the fuel? Engine temp? Volts? Found it. If you haven't, you can download the manual from HR website. Section 10 chassis. Per the manual you have hydraulic brakes, but air parking brakes.
  4. I'd love to see a pic of the dash and all the gauges if you don't mind. I'd think the person could add gauges for you.
  5. Mine has that too and I forget which is which. But that got me thinking, there's a valve on each tank to empty the air to prevent condensation. With both tanks full, you should be able to empty one and watch the needles. Engine off, of course.
  6. I read those and figured for the price and the return if I didn't like them, I'd give them a shot. So far the 3 in the one fixture work great. I looked at M4LED but they are so much more expensive. I have similar ones in puck lights under my cabinets and they work ok but some flicker and have given me trouble. Maybe yours are a better brand. Thank you both. Steven
  7. I went on Amazon and purchased these bulbs to replace all 12 of the halogen puck bulbs. I like how they turned out in the one light and I do like the current light setups. I thought about putting new puck lights in, but if I can use the existing ones, I'd prefer to do that. I think my next steps will be to check volts at the switches and try to trace grounds. I'll pull the lights down too. There was a bad connection in the bedroom lighting causing issues. Maybe this will be similar. Thank you all. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C8G7PUG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_3PGC5D4R665G86CNMAH3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Thanks, I'll see what I can find. I'm thinking the voltage is low somewhere. I've found some interesting wiring stuff here and there from the PO.
  9. The PO installed 3 lights w 12V halogen puck lights in place of the fluorescent ones. They have 2 switches and when on, they are very dim. This is actually nice when night driving and the family moves around bc it's not too bright. However, in trying to change to LEDs, the LEDS won't work. I'm assuming bc the voltage is too low. Before I pull these down and look further I thought I'd see if anyone has ran into something like this before. I've looked for a dimmer, but no luck yet. I really don't need the bright light, but I do want LEDS. The one set of bright lights is for comparison and is on a separate switch.
  10. I heard good things about Crown when I was shopping. They've been around a while. I went with Trojan t105 agms bc they were priced well and I could get them easier and I read more good stories about Trojan. But Crown was second on my list. 18 month warranty and comparably priced.
  11. I was gonna suggest making sure the air is not blowing directly on the sensor which is on the wall by my passenger seat in my 06 Diplomat. Maybe even cover it up and see if it runs longer. I agree w above, if still under warranty, get them to check it. Also, just resetting the thermostat could help.
  12. Dont forget to check your grounds too.
  13. The PO of ours installed pull down shades on most of the windows. I ordered a few more to finish his job and am pleased. They took some time to get in last year. The pleated ones were screwed to the valance. I also removed the sides of the valances which gives it a cleaner look to us. I believe the website was American blinds. Maybe try a vacuum with a brush head attachment to clean? Light soapy water and a sponge?
  14. @throgmartinis going. Bring the man some scallops!🤣🤣
  15. I don't think Sam's is the problem. I think Duracell is the problem based on the lack of that specific battery at many Sam's. Our local one had the inventory wrong. Computer showed 7 in stock, had 1 in stock. The first week they didn't fix that, second week they corrected that but none would show up even though other batteries were coming weekly. I had 3 in my area I kept checking with.
  16. I started checking w Sam's for Duracell Gc2 AGMs just before Christmas. Mid Feb I gave up and got Trojans. Sam's kept telling me they cannot special order them and no one in a 150mile radius had them. I was in Birmingham and called 2 Sam's there and neither had the agms.
  17. Does it make a noise as if it's trying to pump? Your strainer could be clogged or a valve off. Can you post some pics of the pipes and valves?
  18. The PO put 2 Duracell 12V AGM chassis batteries and they have done us well. 3 or 4 years old now? I suspect he got them from Sam's.
  19. Congrats and thanks for the website share.
  20. The shop that did mine had to have some custom made from a hose shop.
  21. Congrats on figuring some stuff out and feeling good. Now time to replace that ball valve. I have not had leveler trouble, but you should be able to find a manual online to troubleshoot. For mine, check fluid when retracted. I know there are fuses, maybe yours blew? Check the grounds, is there voltage going to them, etc...is the switch good?
  22. After having problems with 2 Samsungs in our house, and really wanting water and ice in the door, I opted to install a GE. We have been very pleased so far. I removed the Norcold and did the swap myself. We were able to use the door to get all through.
  23. I wondered about this when I saw "Future" in the manual.
  24. I'm still a novice to this, but glad to help where I can. So the fridge isn't cooling at all on propane, but does on electric? And the propane part of the fridge does work? My understanding is that either the electric or the propane is heating the gas causing the cooling, so if the propane is working, I'm not sure why it wouldn't cool. However, know that myself and many others have changed to a residential fridge for better and safer cooling and before you invest a lot of money in that fridge, you may want to look at those options. Keep the updates coming.
  25. Good catch. That is what it shows. 32c, about 90f?
