  1. I assume you have a 1 wire sensor? If so, then clean up the probe with some Scotchbrite. Also clean up the surface where the wire terminal attaches.
  2. Did you get your Magnum inverter working? Make sure your wiring/cables are connected correctly and the terminals are clean. Magnum has great tech support. 800-553-6418
  3. Are you sure you reconnected all the batteries correctly? Double check the connections and compare to the picture you took prior to swapping. Also, were you careful to reconnect the Intellitec Big Boy relay correctly? I'd attach an external battery charger to the batteries until you get it sorted out. you are risking ruining your new batteries.
  4. Some of the guys are using a commercial car wash vacuum hose instead of the original spa hose. It's more flexible. Here are two threads with great information on repairing the kitchen slide drain hose. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/kitchen-sink-flexible-drain-hose-replacement-383127.html https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/broken-flex-drain-in-kitchen-slide-539786.html
  5. I'd recommend you rent a car and find the old driveshaft. There are several parts on it that can be reused as well as measurements that you'll need.
  6. EGR was introduced to most Cummins engines in 2003. I think you are correct in looking at alternatives. The Cummins ISM has an issue with developing leaks in the EGR cooler. I've tested the Ugly Fix on both a 2007 and a 2004 Cummins ISX. On the 2007 model it caused an occasional check engine light. On the 2004 it worked without issue. About the hardest part is finding the barometric sensor in the engine wiring harness to plug in the Ugly Fix. It is buried under the intake manifold and taped up and zip tied back out of the way. 7. You may consider changing to a modern system. I purchased a new TST system, and it works great. One of the nice features is I can change the sensor batteries myself. Link to TST tire pressure monitor systems: Home (tsttruck.com)
  8. Wow, I sure hope you get it fixed. I hear good things about the Eaton CEEMAT transmission. Nine gears would be nice.
  9. Wow, a Detroit powered coach. That's a great find. There should be a spring in the handle. These are made by Trimark. https://www.trimarkcorp.com/en/zPlatFormList.aspx?intcategoryid=89&topcategoryid=175&scategoryid=176
  10. No, you can swap them. There are only four bolts holding it down and then some wiring but you may need new foam gaskets. I don't understand why one would work better than the other.
  11. The best place to view wrecked RV's is online salvage yards. Usually, the larger Monaco coaches like the Dynasty, Executive, and Signature fare much better in an accident than the smaller coaches. You can look through the pictures in the links below. 12. Picture of the wiring under my A/C. The top picture is a newer Penguin II and the lower picture is an original Penguin.
  13. Page 86 of the 2015 Dynasty Owners manual shows a picture of the wet bay thermostat. It says it's located next to the water pump in the service bay. I would look above the water pump on the wall. Of course for it to work the Aqua Hot Diesel switch will need to be on and the corresponding Zone on the thermostat will need to be set to Furnace. Download an electronic copy of your owners manual here and do a search for thermostat. https://www.monacocoach.com/service-and-repairs/
  14. Have you checked the front A/C control board dip switch settings? One of the dip switches is for Furnace. Is this a newer Penguin II front A/C? If so, does it have a retrofit control board for the 5 button thermostat, or did someone adapt the wiring to get it to work?
  15. On both of my coaches the dash A/C dryer is located up front next to the generator. The 4-seasons dryer has the binary switch installed in the top of the dryer.
  16. There may be several things going on here. First, you have three roof heat pumps but you cannot mix Heat Pump and Furnace heat. You can use only one, or two heat pumps as long as you do not select Furnace for the third. Also remember it takes five minutes after selecting Heat Pump, set Fan to Auto, then set the temperature and it will take 5 min for it to respond. Up front you have three switches for Aqua Hot: Aqua-Hot Diesel, Aqua-Hot 110V, and Aqua-Hot Hi. Diesel selects the diesel burner and the other two select 120 volt heating elements ( your system has two 120V elements). For continued heat throughout the coach and unlimited hot water, use diesel. It will come on and you can hear the burner. It sounds like a small jet engine and will run for about 20 min to heat the Aqua Hot boiler tank. Then you can select Furnace on your three thermostat zones, then set the temperature and the zone heat exchangers will respond as needed. If you just need some hot water for dishes or one quick shower, then the 120 V Aqua Hot source is fine but give it two hours to heat the tank. You can use both diesel and 120V sources simultaneously. Next, you have an Aqua Hot fan switch for the bath area. This is an additional heat exchanger just for that area. For it to function, you must have the thermostat zone set to Furnace with the temperature set and that zone calling for heat. Then the bath area fan will come on. I hope this is clear. You may try downloading your owners manual and reading through the Aqua Hot heating (page 110) and A/C section (page 109). https://www.monacocoach.com/service-and-repairs/
  17. On most of the three A/C equipped coaches, Monaco grouped the center A/C and the washer on the same circuit breaker. So, you might relook at the circumstances that caused the breaker to trip. If that's not it, then it's usually the compressor when it's in startup and that's usually caused by low refrigerant. As far as replacing an A/C, I assume you have the front A/C on a 5 button thermostat by itself and the middle and rear A/C on a separate thermostat. IF you need to replace only one A/C, then I would put the new unit on the front with a new CCC2 thermostat. If it's the front one that fails then it's easy, but if the middle or rear A/C fails, then you'd have to swap positions. It really only takes about 30 min to swap A/C positions. Of course, if you have two units fail, then install them on the middle and rear positions with a new CCC2 thermostat. Hope this helps.
  18. On the Signature, Executive, and Navigator the dash A/C condenser and fan are up on the front firewall just behind the front axle. The fan should run anytime you have A/C or Defrost selected, and the pressure sensor calls for it. It could also have a bad compressor or low refrigerant and the fan would run constantly.
  19. I ordered mine from Sue at Veurinks RV. https://www.veurinksrv.com/ 616 281-5111
  20. As far as I know Monaco and Cummins did not use an oil filled motor mount. But, there is a breather low on the passenger side of most Cummins engines installed in motorhomes and it will certainly blow oil out down there.
  21. Wow, congratulations Frank! I am impressed. Is Brett's (now Jim's) coach back up and all systems working? And should I put 2008-2009 Signatures back on my shopping list? Again, we are so lucky to have Frank as a resource.
  22. I'd go to 2027 and have them inspected.
  23. Yes, it has several quarts in the cooler, lines, and PTO. Make sure you use TES 295 or the newer TES 668 fluid. By the way, I think you have the best year Signature available.
