  1. Search "AZ RV Expert" on YouTube. He shows how to replace the floor without removing the slide. He temporarily screws 2x4s to each side of the slide and then jacks it up so he can access the underside.
  2. Ben brings up a good point. What can we do with the old boiler tank?
  3. Many of us have had the electronic fan control module fail. I purchased and installed a Sauer Danfoss wax valve mechanical fan controller. This thread has a wealth of information on replacing the electronic fan control with a mechanical wax valve: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/fan-stuck-wide-open-376611.html
  4. Great job Pat. This will be invaluable to all of us. Thanks!
  5. It is routed down through the refrigerator compartment. Mine was burned through behind the refrigerator.
  6. Anything that uses electricity to produce heat uses a lot of electricity. How many watts is your coffee maker? It's probably loading up your inverter enough to drop the voltage below the AGS setting. You probably should check the AGS voltage setting also. Any it will take a few 24/7 days to charge those batteries.
  7. According to his data card he has a Cummins ISM 500hp. The ISM usually has one hydraulic fan and the ISX has two.
  8. Try these guys: They have a reputation for making excellent radiators for Monaco/HR products and occasionally have some in stock: https://cgj.com/product-category/radiators/motorhome-and-bus-radiators/monaco-radiator CAC: https://cgj.com/product-category/radiators/motorhome-and-bus-radiators/monaco-radiator Or: monaco - Radiator Supply House
  9. Is this the drivers side front slide? The slide out lock may be jammed. With the slide extended see if you can push outward on the slide lock stainless lever by hand. If not, you may have to lube it until free.
  10. We found our Sauer Danfoss rebuild kit here: Gary Manchester 7315 W. Wilson Ave. Harwood Heights, Ill. 60706 ph: 708-887-6320 Fax: 708-887-5009 manchester@qccorp.com Had to purchase two for minimum purchase, but they were cheap.
  11. To make sure I understand your post, your hydraulic engine cooling fan motor is leaking hydraulic fluid and your hydraulic system is getting low so the power steering is intermittent. Hopefully you did not overheat the engine. When this happened to us, I filled up the hydraulic system and drove to a repair shop. I used an Uber to get to a Walmart and bought several gallons of Valvoline Maxlife synthetic fluid. Ours hold 55 quarts of Dexron III fluid so you can drive a very long way (several hundred miles depending on how bad the leak is). The Maxlife synthetic fluid is way overkill for this application so you could use almost any Dexron fluid. I chose the Maxlife because it has special seal conditioners and reduced the leak. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Valvoline-Maxlife-Dex-Merc-Atuo-Transmission-Fluid-3-1-Gallon-Instore-Service-Item-Only/600835561?from=/search Best of luck! Just checked the 2009 Dynasty Owners manual. Your hydraulic system takes 35 quarts of Texaco Rando HD 46 if equipped with an ISL engine and 55 quarts if equipped with an ISM 500hp engine. Texaco Rando HD 46 is a zinc based hydraulic oil for use in industrial and mobile service. The series is formulated with Group II base oils, in combination with rust and oxidation inhibitors, anti-foam and highly stable anti-wear additives, offering good pump and piston protection.
  12. Northwest RV supply has a replacement aluminum tank. It's a little pricey but should last a long time.
  13. Doug, what's the temperature there? Sometimes those shuttle valves like to stick in cold temperatures. Maybe try it again during the warmest time of the day. Good luck!
  14. Our 2004 model has a Hendrickson drop center trailer axle. There should be an ID tag in the center. Attached is the service manual. Find the ID number and then you can look up the seal number. But, realistically, you're going to have to remove the old seal and take it in to match it up. Tag Axle doc.pdf
  15. One of the new style gear reduction starters will help by reducing the required starting current.
  16. Make sure you use non-oil based sealant on the skylight or the Lexan will crack. SUREBOND | SB-140 SKYLIGHT & WINDOW BUTYL SEALANT
  17. It will be in the metal portion of the radiator hose that returns hot coolant to the radiator.
  18. I recommend removing the loads and the supply current and restart it. 2005 and earlier coaches came with the Trace Freedom inverters. They were purchased by Xantrex and production moved offshore. Xantrex customer support at 1- 800-670- 0707
  19. Getting back to Country B's original question. When you have a three A/C coach, you can install the new unit on the front and control it with a new 10 button thermostat. Then move your old front A/C unit to the rear and control it along with the middle A/C unit on your old 5 button thermostat. I know it's extra labor moving an existing unit, but there are really only 4 bolts holding these things down along with a few wires and 2 drain lines. Good luck!
  20. I'm pretty sure John's correct about the 15k towing option. However, to repair you trailer light wiring you need to install a new trailer tail light converter. Your motorhome has separate turn signal and brake lights where as trailers share the brake light and turn signals. So you need to install a new 3 to 2 trailer light converter. They occasionally fail so I would use an inexpensive Curt converter from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/56130-Non-Powered-2-Wire-Taillight-Converter/dp/B0049CI05W/ref=sxin_18_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.749943ff-94bd-4679-8f03-3b5488f65fae%3Aamzn1.sym.749943ff-94bd-4679-8f03-3b5488f65fae&crid=LCI55CQW9A2C&cv_ct_cx=trailer+tail+light+converter&keywords=trailer+tail+light+converter&pd_rd_i=B0049CI05W&pd_rd_r=a706d06c-6b82-414b-bff5-df54b03373fa&pd_rd_w=pdQjr&pd_rd_wg=HNbBr&pf_rd_p=749943ff-94bd-4679-8f03-3b5488f65fae&pf_rd_r=8VV6981TWE4G6AHX738E&qid=1686931133&sprefix=trailer+tail+light+converter%2Caps%2C152&sr=1-1-2b34d040-5c83-4b7f-ba01-15975dfb8828-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&psc=1
  21. Make sure you also check your hose reel for leaks if it's in the same compartment. This is a link to the thread I posted on replacing the boiler. If you do the work yourself you can cut the cost in half. And the good news is the Aqua Hot works so much better with the new style boiler. At the bottom is a picture of the old style boiler with the external fresh water copper pipe around the outside of the boiler. You can see the copper pipe near the exhaust port is exposed to outside air and can easily freeze.
  22. Because the older Aqua Hot design has the fresh water copper piping wrapped around the outside of the boiler tank. The lower tubing is only an inch from the exhaust port and they develop leaks. Sorry. I just replaced our boiler.
  23. Found this: What fluid do I use in a HWH leveling system? HWH Hydraulic Oil HWH Hydraulic Oil is a clear hydraulic oil manufactured by Conoco, exclusively for HWH Corporation, for use in HWH Hydraulic Leveling Systems and Hydraulic Room Extension Systems. https://www.campingworld.com/hwh-hydraulic-fluid-32-oz.-20763.html HWH manual says that their stuff is recommended, but Dexron transmission fluid can be used in an emergency. The only negative they state is that Dexron has a red color which might stain the floor.
  24. Turn the Jake brake on and use it at least on low.
  25. RV owners are an interesting bunch. The waste gate should bleed off excess boost so with it not working it could theoretically over boost. But I doubt fixing the waste gate will increase your boost from 24 to 31. The boost loss is probably in the turbo, the hose couplers, or the CAC.
