  1. I would take all the bulbs out and mark them. Start putting one front bulb in the rear sockets one at a time and check. If you fave multi meter you can check the rear bulbs for a short. Probably have shorted element in a rear bulb. Good luck
  2. Not sure what you call that valve but it is not the ride height valve. The are located close to the axles. I have the same coach but it will be tomorrow before I can look at mine to see if I can figure it out. Hopefully someone here can help. You might try IR2, it usually gets lots of responses in a hurry.
  3. I ordered one also from Elkhart and it says shipped and was suppose to have received it on 3-4-21 but still not here. The tracking number supplied is not in the USPS system. Sounds like they are out of them from the article above.
  4. In my previous Diplomat, I changed the Norcold out with a JC 120 volt. It worked good but you cannot control freezer temp and bottom temp individually. In my current Diplomat I changed out to Samsung RF18. I gained the extra 5 cubic feet of space plus have different temp controls. I bought my RF18 from Goedeker's online for 1098.00. So it was only a few hundred more than the JC retrofit. I am really liking the Samsung.
  5. I have a 2007 40SKQ and carry about the same amount of weight in tools etc.. under my bed without any problems. I think you would be ok.
  6. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making this useful list. Kenneth
  7. I also have a 2007 Diplomat SKQ. I just changed my rear unit out to a Penguin II 15,000 BTU from a 13,500. If your 13,500 BTU has been changed out to a 15,000 it has a new control board and the dip switches may be incorrect. I suggest get the model number and call Dometic Tech Service and ask them for help. When I talked to them on my change out they were really good. It is real easy to accidentally change a dip switch when installing everything. I am sure you went to the thermostat and choose zone 2 and then furnace. Maybe try that in case you accidentally chose the wrong mode. Good Luck
  8. I replaced my Norcold 1200 and with a residential fridge. It was working but just not cooling real good in the summer. I prefer to sell whole but will part out. It has the stainless doors and the seals are in pretty good condition. Make offers plus you pay shipping. Send message if interested. Located close to Omaha, NE. Have a nice day.
  9. Use your jacks and get the front wheel off the ground so you can turn it by hand. If you get the grinding sound you have a bearing bad or brake dragging. The brakes on the roadmaster chassis are known to stick. Sometimes you can drive about a block with the brake partially applied and burn rust or a piece of gravel lodged in the brake. I would try these before going to a shop.
  10. Open the link below and it will have everything you need to know. I have done it to 2 different diplomats and works great. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f258/gas-door-prop-installed-241214.html
  11. If you are lucky maybe you only knocked out the start relay. Suggest you go to YouTube and search Samsung start relay. Appliance pro has a short video on this.
  12. I think the fridge is plugged into the inverter and when plugged into shore power you don't have inverter selected. Take the outside access panel off behind the fridge and you will have two receptacles plugs there. One for shore and one thru the inverter. Try switching to the other plug or take a meter and check which is hot or not.
  13. I just replaced mine on a 2007 diplomat. Should be the same size. It is a Gates Green Stripe 24920 are equivalent which I believe is a 1 1/4 ID. Make sure you use a wire spiral wound hose because you do not want it collapse. It is stiff and hard to work with so make sure you order it long enough. I also suggest you order new heavy duty clamps.
  14. Your motor may be the same as the one of the motors on a different slide. If so you could swap motors to see if that is the culprit prior to just up and buying one. The motor subject to being weak might run a smaller slide ok.
  15. I am pretty sure your slide is on a geared track and not hydraulic. I know you had motor checked but I think it is weak. Not sure how much torque they are applying and how long they are running the motor. Try pushing from outside with some constant pressure while the DW runs the switch. If it does not stop doing it this way I would change the motor. You would probably get many more suggestions on IRV2. Good Luck
