  1. Deleted. I thought you were asking about the actual mirror mounting, sorry.
  2. Please post where to find a switch like that too! Thanks
  3. I put new tires on my steer axle this spring, they are directional tires to 50% of tread life, they have direction arrows on both sides walls of the tires all the way around the tire next to the face of the tires. I also have directional tires on the pusher axles on my work truck, there are Michelin tires, they seem to work good but they are only on the ground half the time. These are the tires I put on my steer axle. https://www.michelinrvtires.com/tires/selector/#!/info/x-coach-z
  4. That’s exactly what I went through, I tried 3 different places for lenses and none fit exactly and I said that’s enough!
  5. Thanks, the other reason I replaced the entire light fixture was because the 168 bulbs that were in there were stick in the fixture from all of the silicone sealant they used on the assembly floor! I actually had the break the fixtures in order to replace them and cut the silicone out of there with a utility knife. Lots of spare wires on all of mine with the exception of the rear center light, but plenty of wiring to work with.
  6. I tried to replace all of my covers last winter, I couldn’t find any that fit just right, I tried a couple of places, even the place the lights were originally purchased from. I gave up and ordered all new LED lights from e trailer. I’m sure there’s a correct fit out there, I just reached the point of not willing to spend more time and money on it. I also bought some spare lenses for the new lights with antisapation that some day I might need 1 or 2. Jmo.
  7. Rangerboat, did you ever get this resolved, it appears that I’m having a similar issue with my 05 Dynasty. Thanks

    Heliotrope 45D

I experienced this same issue a couple of weeks ago on vacation and I’m wondering what to do, thanks for posting all of this!
  9. These are the batteries that are in my coach, https://fullriverbattery.com I believe my inverter is set to charge AGM batteries.
  10. Well I’ve only owned my coach about a year now so I can’t say what is the best battery to have, the previous owner of our coach installed 4 6 volt AGM batteries in 2014, they seem to still be going strong, I don’t know how long they will last so I can say that they are the best. One thing I asked the previous owner was why he switched over to AGM, he said the battery tray was a mess with corrosion on the cables and tray and the compartment needed to be cleaned and repainted. I don’t know if that warrants the coast of AGM batteries or not but the battery compartment is still clean with no corrosion on the batteries or the tray, now maybe if a flooded battery is maintained to perfection this will not happen, I don’t know. I believe I will stay with the AGM’s when it’s time to replace, it will be interesting to see how long they last! By the sounds of your post you’re tired of the corrosion of lead acid batteries.
  11. This is an interesting thread, I purchased a used coach almost a year ago and In talking with the the gentleman that performed the maintenance (Specialty RV in Aurora Or) on the coach before I purchased it, I asked what he used for the hydraulic system in regards to the steering system and cooling system fan, he told me that he used the AW-46 hydraulic fluid when he serviced the system in regards to changing out the filter, I’ve looked at the service records that we were given at the time of the purchase the owners manual says ATF Dexron III. I wondered about using TranSynd to reduce the different types of fluids to carry on board in case you’d need any on the road. I’m going to suck out some fluid and see what color it is, I’m guessing it’s going to be red, I looked through all of the service records I was given and it appears that the hydraulic fluid has never been changed out, I know the filters have been changed, at least I know the filters have been changed!
  12. Some what of a side track, but now that Mercon III is no longer available, what is everyone using for replacement hydraulic fluid for generator and slide out system. I need to change my fluid! Thanks
  13. Ouch! so in other words we should try and lube that bearing, I have an ISL so I’ll have to look at it. A couple of years ago I removed all of the idler pulley bearings on my Powerstoke and repacked them, truck now has 371’xxx miles on original pulley bearings.
  14. Fwiw, you shouldn’t have to remove the rear wheels to inspect the brake shoes, it can be done from under the coach.
  15. I just googled “radiator rod bushings” and it produced a fair number of choices, fwiw.

    Toad Build?

We purchased a ‘19 JL Rubicon Unlimited in March, I’ve been working on it for a month or so getting it put together. Rock Hard front and rear aluminum bumpers, winch, tow bar bracket’s, wiring harness, ect,
  17. I forgot to mention I have the 05 Monaco Dynasty Factory wiring schematic book if you have any questions, I can certainly try to help you out.
  18. Subscribing, I have the same coach but no issues with my charging system that I know of. The reason I mentioned it was maybe I could have base line info on the system.
  19. I haven’t read every ones response but, In my shop, on the concrete, to clean up oil or grease first I wipe up as much as I can with paper towels then I use an old fashion mop with the I believe it is a cotton mop head and pour plan old solvent on the mop and clean the floor. The solvent will cut the stain pick up any oil/grease residue then it evaporates after 20-30 minutes and your floor is returned to appearance prior to the spill. After the mop dries I shake it out and set it aside for the next clean up. Been doing this for many years, being in the trucking business for years there’s always grease droppings from the trucks and equipment on the shop floor and the occasional oil spillage of some sort. I purchase the solvent in 5 gallon pals at Fleet Farm in Minnesota, I’m sure everyone has some type of farm supply store or parts house close by to pick it up. That’s what I do.
  20. Thanks for the heads up, when you get them installed I’d be interested in the actual amount of light they provide in comparison to the original lights.
