  1. You do not want to replace them, been there done that with a friends 2008 Patriot Thunder that was in an accident. The parts are available and would consider a different shop. There is no good replacement for a Coach Step.
  2. It should be in your Monaco Owner Manual, that manual is a great resource. Cummins has no information on what Monaco used for AquaHot, pneumatic and other filters on your coach other than Cummins specific.
  3. I have seen Energy Star refrigerator evaporator fan motors fail on MSW. It is an easy cure, replace the fan motor with a non Energy Star efficient motor. In my experience the normal replacement motor does not have that circuitry and works fine on MSW.
  4. Perhaps Atwood although they sold off a bunch of their divisions. My Atwood driver side power window regulator assembly is now Challenger Door. When the L shaped outer pane of my driver side fixed window broke Auto Glass Boss had a new one cut for it & they installed it. When an outer pane broke on my last coach door it was replaced by Duncan.
  5. I have the complete setup from a 2008 Beaver Patriot Thunder ceiling mount TV except the fiberglass pan which would not fit a 70" TV anyhow.
  6. As stated start cleaning connections. If you start with the batteries and clean the cut off switch connections, bulkhead connections, battery chassis ground, front run bay bulkhead connections (if power runs that way on a Diplomat), generator ground and generator + & - at the generator you will not only cure your current issue but will also avoid other electrical issues for a long time. Don't forget to check the cable ends for corrosion where the wire enters the connector, green is not a good thing.
  7. As Bruce mentioned some of us have the ceiling mount TV's. They were originally made for the old heavy 37" TV's which we replaced with a 48" and may work for a newer lighter 70" TV. Lift It made those and no longer produce them but does sell the components.
  8. The Coach Step 725-0072 on my 2007 Signature is the same as the 2008 Patriot Thunder. The Thunder was in an accident so we replaced it with a a Lippert 376003 (Kwikee 904239090) which has the mounting ears on the bottom whereas the original mount was on the top.. We used 4 long aluminum blocks, drilled for original mounting holes and drilled and tapped for step ears. It works but I just do not like the new Kwikee step, when it extends it has sides to trip on. My electric motor experience is that off brand automotive window motors are of poor construction in that the drive gear is pressed on and tends to turn on the shaft. A step requires more power than a window which I believe causes the failure. OEM motors are probably OK. I used to repair window motors when the plastic gears broke but eventually the lack of quality made it a wasted effort. The last 202-3230 controller I replaced with a Stromberg Carlson SP164889
  9. Dave, I don't want to hijack this post. I read the owner manual again and did not see any reference to the cruise control when the VORAD is inop. I simply asked if his Executive has Vorad since it does have an effect on the cruise control. I saw the post stating the problem with the brake switch, however, if it turns out that it is not that there is another direction to look. I had that problem and wanted to give that insight. In my case, in the end, I think cleaning up the front run panel boards cured my problems and do not expect jimclark44 to have the same result. If you can send me the part of the owners manual that references the procedure to make the cruise control work when the VORAD fails I would appreciate it. I cannot find it.
  10. Cruise Control does not work as normal when the VORAD fails on my 2007. The procedure is to simultaneously depress the Cruise On and Set buttons on the smart wheel and have the cruise control function without smart cruise. This may take more than one try.
  11. Here's one Chinese Cummins Insite 6 with Inline 7.6 I don't trust it virus wise and have it on a dedicated computer along with Silverleaf. The computer will not be connected to the internet ever. It is not a simple plug & play as you have to go through the setup steps. I don't know what style diagnostic port you have so check to make sure that adapter is included.
  12. When I had an ECM issue there was no one that had the programming. That includes Cummins Corporate, Monaco Rev Group Coburg, Cummins Coburg etc.. Cummins Coburg originally did the programming for Monaco Oregon but they changed their computer system and erased all of those old files. I was able to get the ECM ISO programming file from another coach exactly like mine. Cummins has no idea of what your coach parameters are. They can make the engine run but without salvaging data from the old ECM it becomes a $175/hour guessing game. It is a bunch of pages of choices such as where it gets the speed input;" none-magnetic-digital pulses per mile- tachograph- data link tailshaft- datalink VSS- data link tachograph", number of transmission tail shaft gear teeth, top gear transmission ratio, gear down transmission ratio etc.. As you can see the list is extensive. Everyone should get a copy of their engine ECM ISO file and keep it with the coach the next time it is connected to a Cummins Insite computer, IMHO. It is an easy upload to the ECM if you ever need it. As an example of what the OP is needing, here is a copy of the engine parameters on my 2006 ISX 600 HP with electronic fan, VORAD with cruise control etc. Engine Parameters April 22 2020.pdf
  13. As mentioned, there are many causes for the light and for it extinguishing. Some codes will keep the light on if the problem is active more than a certain amount of time. I carry a bootleg copy of Cummins Insite and it is always running when the engine is running. I can immediately see any codes, run tests etc. For the small investment you can see the problem, see the Cummins troubleshooting chart and even if you cannot repair it you can tell the mobile tech what's going on so he can bring the part along. It recently saved my bacon when I lost two cylinders due to a fuel timing actuator. I repaired it myself and was on the way in a few hours. It saves all codes, shows if they are active, how many times it happened etc. Code readers are not all equal.
  14. If the fan runs even slightly slow due to bearings etc. the pressures in the compressor will slowly rise and so will the amps. I spin them by hand to see if they coast or stop. Harvy is right about running water on the condenser.

  16. Curious why you say that? I know the weight, 47,000 and use 12 ton stands frequently.
  17. It's not so much that parks and campgrounds have banned them it's that so many operators are not adhering to the FAA rules which leads to those decisions. "Never fly over any person or moving vehicle" is one of those rules. UAS  Rules
  18. I've been in A/C parts places which have parts on display which are completely plugged with stop leak. I don't use that stuff either.
  19. I don't have any idea who did it, as stated by some it probably was not the factory. I do know it was done prior to 50,000 miles. Perhaps a previous owner took it in for a thrust alignment by some "Professionals". I took it to Spectrac in Mesa, AZ for a thrust alignment last September & they didn't see this. They did charge $$$ for an inspection and an estimate of $$$$ which didn't address this problem . That surprised me since I had scheduled it to have an alignment , not an inspection. Professionals? They sure dropped the ball on this one & it's probably the best shop in that area.
  20. 1996 had R134 refrigerant. The other posters have mentioned the cheapest, fastest way to check the compressor operation; find the low pressure switch, unplug it and jumper across the plug. If the compressor clutch engages then it is likely low on refrigerant but there are other possibilities. You can run your generator and house A/C for years and not burn as much fuel dollars as one A/C repair bill.
  21. I took the screen out and put a piece of Lexan/Plexiglass in its place. We leave the entry door open which lets everyone know we are up & about, come on over. We do not need the ventilation with the sliding windows which supply lots of air flow and it stays cool when using the A/C.
  22. I suppose we would be remiss if we didn't mention the "higher pressure" low pressure regulators that some fire pits, etc. use which have some part of it painted red.
  23. I can't think of a better place for high pressure propane than in a battery compartment! 🤣 Mine came with black pipe and regulated outlet on the passenger side of the vented propane tank compartment. I just removed the regulator from the grill and fire pit.
  24. Frank O, who have you found to repair it? I have found Auto Glass Boss scheduling to be annoying in the past but they always warrantied their work and the guys did their best, IMHO. I used Duncan to replace a windshield and door glass and thought they did a good job.
