When that opens, you'll see a "Notification Settings" clicky in blue letters. Click on that and follow the directions. Finally, on each post that you open, you'll see a box that allows you to follow or unfollow that particular post. It's located on the right side of the header page. Hope this helps.......Dennis
  2. Pumps are pumps. I made my first 'system' in a 96 Dynasty and was very pleased with it. The pumps are nothing more than those used for years in marine applications. Think purging bait tanks. I've replaced the pump in my coach now twice. Bought the pumps on Amazon. Jabsco....best in the business. They do make repair kits but the kits do NOT include the paper gasket between the halves so if you tear yours, you'll have to hand craft one out of gasket material. Available at NAPA stores everywhere. The kit includes the impeller. Are you having an issue with yours? I usually take mine apart for cleaning during my annual RV service. Since I began doing that, I have had no issues with it. I did cut a piece of 1 1/4 PVC and put that on the ground so the hose can lay in it like a cradle. The rocks added to the movement of the hose will shorten it's lifespan......Dennis
  3. Flies, mosquitos and spiders get no love from me...just sayin....Dennis
  4. Somewhere there's a snake or a hawk that will thank you....just sayin...Dennis
  5. Mike, I'm simply installing the stock headlamps. I rarely, read never, drive at night so illumination isn't a 'thing' for me. Nights are for reading books. Just sayin. Safe travels my friend....Dennis
  6. Personally I wouldn't cut and paste headlamps that do not fit. Much much easier to simply replace them with OEM. I replace mine every few years as I'm not about to spend my weekend polishing the lens when new headlamps are $150 bucks/pair. Mine are Dodge Ram. Taillamps are Lincoln Navigator. Do a search....Dennis
  7. My mother in law is only 5'2" and you should hear her.... πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.... Dennis
  8. LOL So, like many things Monaco, the sensors are located wherever that particular Monaco technician decided to put them at the time he was installing them on your coach. Correct answer is: they could be anywhere.....Dennis
  9. Imagine if you had to pay a 'tech' to do that work...ugh! Great job of patching then finishing up the job correctly. Many would have simply left the patch and dealt with the small oil leak....Dennis
  10. Joe, while I've never tackled the project in a motorhome, there are many alternatives available for other applications. I see no reason why your idea will not work. Another option is to simply seal the material near the edge and cover that with a piece of moulding. You could wrap/glue the moulding with the same material as the ceiling and it would give you a finished look. Hopefully the mold issue will be confined to the bathroom area. Mold can be treated and it's good you're having a professional look at it. Best of luck. Be sure to post before and after pictures.....Dennis
  11. Tim, the Manabloc is where all your water lines come together, sort of a distribution center for all your coach's water supply. I've attached a picture. Mine is inside a stainless structure within that cabinet. Hope this helps. If you need more info, just ask.......Dennis
  12. Doug, my wife is 5'9" and that's the reason we did away with the drawer. The only advantage for her will be she can easily reach everything in the FREEZER. πŸ™‚ .....Dennis
  13. I've used Auto Glass Boss in Apache Junction and was very pleased with their knowledge and service. They also repair fogged windows.......Dennis Auto Glass Boss
  14. Joe, have you found any sites that have decent instructions??? Even with a magnifying glass that writing is hardly legible. Mine doesn't seem to want to take pictures. I'm sure it's just a button I'm not pushing but it'd really be nice if there was a youtube or something to help out us newbies. The vids I found were all about evaluation and comparison with very little, if any, instructions. Any help is appreciated....Dennis
  15. Looks good. Now all that's needed is a door lock. We tried various latches, kid locks, etc. and found the Fridge Fixer to be the simplest, easiest and most secure latch to keep the doors closed while traveling. I have nothing to do with the company only in using their product which I've been satisfied with. Only issue with the residential fridge is the 20 seconds in the microwave to get the ice cream soft enough to scoop. πŸ™‚ ....Dennis Fridge Fixer
  16. Dave, if you paid roughly $2,250 for the 'protection' and they paid $1,000 in road service calls for you, do you still feel it was worth the protection? Peace of mind maybe? Not being snarky, just trying to wrap my head around how others perceive this 'deal'.. thanks....Dennis
  17. Mike, yes, the existing cord is reusable. Simply remove the transfer switch cover and wire it directly. Use caution if your batteries are still hooked up....Not a difficult chore....Dennis
  18. I leave the grey open/black closed if parked for several days. To avoid what Dwight refers to, I close the grey the night before we leave. That way, after two showers, the grey has enough hot/warm soapy water to flush the black when I dump. Never have had any smell in 12 yrs full timing...Dennis
  19. While I have the TST unit which has been trouble free for almost 10 years, here is what I'd do with your system. Since it appears you feel the signal is being 'lost', take all the sensors OFF the vehicle and place them around the monitor. Turn everything ON and see if you still get the error. If you still get the error, then your monitor is defective. If not, then it would indicate the signal is not getting through after installing the sensors. This could be an antenna issue. Either way, my guess is you have a defective monitor. Perhaps a simple fix like a loose or disconnected antenna or some other quirk with the system. Since you've talked to the company already, have you asked for a replacement? It doesn't sound like it's a sensor issue...... Keep us posted....Dennis
  20. I can relate to Gary's story above only my "issue" was with Coach Net. We were traveling through one of the small towns in Texas right after a rain. Following my GPS when a large sign appeared saying "BRIDGE OUT AHEAD". We were on a narrow two lane road and I saw what appeared to be a series of mfg homes with a large parking lot in front, so I pull in. Our coach is 45' and with the toad we are 65' long so I figured I would use their parking lot to execute a U turn and find another way to continue. I entered the parking lot and was pulling back out onto the roadway when the shoulder of the road collapsed from the rain. This dropped the back end of the coach onto the ground and the hitch dug into the wet dirt and rocks. So, here I am sideways across a two lane highway stuck in the driveway of this business. (turns out it was City Hall) I am blocking the street both ways. While I assess the situation my wife calls Coach Net. They want to know if we are in a 'safe' location. Wife says no, we are sideways completely blocking the road. Woman says we don't have a large tow right now and maybe we could move the coach to a safer location. ??? Anyway, I set out emergency cones and begin my search for a way to 'unstick' the coach. After gathering some large rocks, bricks and boards I ask my wife if she's heard from Coach Net. She says no one has called, so I call them back. The lady says they 'cleared' my ticket since they had no truck available! I said I was still stuck and still blocking the entire roadway. This is when she simply asked, "Why don't you move your coach?" πŸ€”Instead of saying what I was thinking, I told her I did not require a large tow truck as I didn't need to be towed. All I needed was one of the smaller trucks that you've seen on the freeways changing tires on big rigs. I need their air jacks to raise the rear drive axle so I can put rocks and bricks under the tires and simply drive the coach out. She says she will call me back. I unhook the toad and begin the tedious job of digging out the coach's hitch. Meanwhile a young lady stops by and asks if I need help. Turns out she's the mayor's wife and he lives nearby. Off she goes to get hubby. Hubby arrives on a four wheeler and I explain my predicament. He says he 'knows a guy' so makes a phone call. Shortly thereafter, the mayor's 'guy' arrives with a backhoe! Says he "might be able" to use the backhoe to lift the coach. After staring at him for what seemed an eternity, I decided to call Coach Net to see what they have done. I tell them who I am, give them my member number again and the lady says, "Oh! You still need help?" Since I paid a lot of money for my phone, I decided not to throw it at that point. After a moment of composure, I said yes, I still need help. She says "Well, we don't have anyone on call right now." Says she'll call me when and if they find someone πŸ₯Ά I hung up on her. I finally used the air system in the coach to raise the back end of the coach as high as it would go, got the rocks, boards and bricks behind the tires and backed the coach out of the muck, thanked the mayor and his buddy, tipped them with a case of beer, since they refused any monetary reward and got underway again. Coach Net never did call me back. As far as they know, I'm still blocking traffic on that highway. I did not renew with Coach Net and will never recommend them to anyone. I figure my VISA has a very large monetary limit so if something goes amiss in the future, I'll find help myself. It's quicker, easier and more efficient....Dennis
  21. A couple things to clarify. You say there's no filters. If that because you've never put them in or your coach didn't come with the filtration system? While not pertinent, because it only minimizes pump recycling, pulsating and pressure spikes, why haven't you fixed the Jabsco accumulator? Finally, saying your water pressure is bad doesn't really help. Your definition and mine might differ. 50psi is ok for me but you may need 100psi. Yes? Now on to your questions as you asked them. There are check valves in your system, yes. But those check valves are really one way valves so your water doesn't get back into their water system. There are no reducers involved. Now your kitchen and your shower faucets will have reducer washers inside. Remove the shower head, remove the washer and reinstall. Also, there is a misconception relative to water PRESSURE and water FLOW and one's perception of how they differ. In order to properly answer your questions, let us know what the pressure is coming from the source. Then check the pressure inside the coach. Is your outside shower faucet(s) shut off completely.?? Is there a significant difference in the water flow out of the bathroom versus the kitchen or the shower? Your hose real most likely will have a one way valve inside it as well, mine did. I removed all mine as I have one at the beginning of my water supply. Mine comes from the spigot to a whole house filter, through the water softener then into the coach where it's filtered again, twice, before reaching the faucets inside. This allows a free flow of the water from the source. Let us know as you proceed. Good luck....Dennis
  22. You should also have the same light in your front run bay. At least mine does. Comes in handy if you forget your flashlight.....Dennis
  23. I highly doubt Coach Net will be of assistance since you are in a campground and it's obviously not an emergency. Look for a mobile mech that can help you get the slide in. It may be something simple. There's a couple in South Fork and another in Durango......Dennis
