  1. I suspect you would be better off repairing your existing tube. You should be able to clean it and braze it.
  2. It's in the front electrical run bay outside just below the drivers feet.
  3. I'm not sure about the 2000 M11, but the 2000 Cummins ISC has a mechanical wax valve. From a post by Van Will: My 2000 Dynasty, Oregon-built in late 1999, was originally equipped with a wax controller. It is a small device plugged into the top rear of the radiator with two small hydraulic lines attached to it.
  4. I don't believe your coach has a fan clutch. It should have dual hydraulic driven fans. The Sauer Danfoss electronic fan controller for the hydraulic fans is prone to failure. You'll know when it's failed because the fans will roar and kick up dust. Repairing the electronic controller is expensive and they typically fail again. Many of us installed a wax valve mechanical controller. The coaches equipped with Detroit 60 engines came from the factory with a wax valve controller. Lots of good reading here: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/fan-stuck-wide-open-376611.html Pictures of the electronic controller post #126: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/fan-stuck-wide-open-376611-9.html Post #140 has repair options: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/fan-stuck-wide-open-376611-10.html My ISX install post #142: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/fan-stuck-wide-open-376611-11.html
  5. Wow, you have one of the last Signature coaches Monaco produced. How cool! A little history. In 2005 Monaco introduced the Intellitec coach (house) multiplex system. This system uses multiplex modules located in the back closet to operate most of the house electrical. Then in late 2008 and 2009, they introduced the Kongsberg chassis multiplex system. This system multiplexes most of the chassis electrical systems. Other 2009 coach owners have had issues and found the Kongsberg system tough to troubleshoot. There are only a few places that can work on your chassis multiplex. M & M RV Electronics, Jason. Direct phone number is: 419 965-3014 and the main number is 419 965-2662. Also the guys at Premium Coach Group in Gilbert AZ may be able to work on it as well as some of the original Monaco Techs in OR. Just a start, but when you disconnect any of the wire connectors, look for bad pins and clean both sides with DeOxit before reconnecting. Also look for any bad grounds. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/cadet-software-for-monaco-multiplex-chassis-432603.html Best of luck!
  6. TST makes an internal sensor that can be added inside your tires. They attach with a band around the wheel inside the tire.
  7. It could be a temp sensor for the Heliotrope solar charger.
  8. Many RV folks mistakenly think of Freightliner as high end when actually it's low to medium price point at best. I personally would not want to own a motor home on a Freightliner chassis. Way back when, Monaco purchased the original Roadmaster chassis design from Chrysler Corp (before they became an MB subsidiary). Chrysler was developing a heavy military chassis design with two air bags per wheel.
  9. Oil leak? Maybe the valve cover gasket? I'd be hoping it's not the head gasket. That would be a major repair.
  10. Wow, what a beautiful coach! It takes some time to learn all the complex systems as well as idiosyncrasies. Hope you enjoy it.
  11. It's normal for the Alternator Fail light (battery symbol) to come on when there are other charging sources. Just turn your headlights on and the warning light will go out.
  12. Post # 26 has pictures of the factory gussets installed on a 2008 S Series chassis. Failed vertical frame 3" X 3" posts 2005 Signature - Page 2 - iRV2 Forums Posts 47 and 55 show more cracked trailing arms. Failed vertical frame 3" X 3" posts 2005 Signature - Page 4 - iRV2 Forums Mocephus, I'm trying to understand on which slide you have issues? Drivers side front, or passenger side front slide out?
  13. Mike said some of the hose runs were a two person job so his son helped him. He installed a cutoff valve to isolate the engine in case of hose failure. Mike Z also has a You Tube channel with some great motor home repair videos.
  14. One of the IRV2 members (Mike) replaced all of his heater and Aqua Hot hoses with high qualty silicone hose and stainless clamps. You'll have to read through the thread as there are lots of pages. https://www.irv2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237276
  15. Sorry to hear about your issues That is a weak point in this chassis. Some attribute the stress cracks to using the Jake brake. It reverse loads the assembly. Monaco recognized the problem and added bracing to the 2007 models. Please post pictures of the Josam's repair.
  16. I agree. Cycle the key on for 30 seconds and then off. Do this several times. You may have to slightly loosen the fuel hose coming out of the filter. Then cycle the key on until you see fuel coming out. Good luck these can be a bear.
  17. Beautiful coaches! Makes me wish Monaco could have made it through the recession.
  18. That's a GFCI breaker. It's not an overload tripping it. You have a neutral touching ground somewhere. GFCI protection is required for 125-volt receptacles supplied by single-phase branch circuits rated 150 volts or less to the ground. GFCI receptacles are required in bathrooms, garages, crawl spaces, basements, laundry rooms and areas where a water source is present. 19. Yes. Definitely replace it. The glue holding the filter medium together deteriorates over time. Your owners manual will have the part number, but you may have to cross it over. I buy them online. I think the Filter Barn had a good price, but I always shop around. They have large hose screw clamps on each end to connect the hoses and 2 band clamps holding the filter to the coach. It usually sits side to side over top of the engine. Easy access on a side radiator.
  20. That should work. There may also be some unused fuse terminals that will work. Another 2009 Signature owner said the folks at Premium Coach Group in Gilbert were able to work on the Kongsberg system.
  21. You've thought through it well. Raise the coach all the way up on the air suspension. Then use jack stands just in case. I use a small floor jack to hold the steering box up in place. Spray some PB Blaster on the nuts and bolts the day before. This is a link to several if not hundreds of swaps. Most of these are swapping from a Sheppard steering box, but the principal is the same. Steering Box Play- Sheppard M100 SHIM or Swap for a TRW ? - iRV2 Forums
  22. 4 Seasons 33276. Cost was $25. The same one as used in a Kenworth.
  23. Its in the last basement bay inside just beyond the water pump.. But, there is a stainless steel enclosure around the Aqua Hot. Remove the top half of the enclosure. The controller is clipped to a bracket on the pump. To remove the enclosure you enter the next bay forward, passenger side and side a divider back
