  1. They are able to drive the chassis before they put the house on so there are some individual fuses near the engine…not labeled and and easy to see IF you have a side radiator. Hard to find if you have a rear radiator.
  2. The vertical rod I was referring to previously is to the left of #2 in the picture below.
  3. Behind the inside black handle’s panel there is a vertical rod with a adjusting center… 2 jam nuts and a long center nut. Unfortunately both ends are right hand threads so you have to take one end of the rod out of its hole… slide clip off the rod to remove from the hole. Need to lengthen this rod to get more travel on the 2 rods most are saying need adjusting…video above.
  4. A 2000 Dynasty is on a RM8H chassis. The S series started in 2004 Dynasty and above.
  5. 48 LEDs 5050 in warm white. The bright white behind the fluorescent’s cover takes most of the bluish color out.
  6. I hope you have better luck with the strips than I have… only LEDs I try and avoid. Between multiple chips not working after less than 500 hours and overall dimming of the rest, I use panels instead of strips. I removed the single fluorescent underneath the kitchen cabinets and used 6 panels instead of a strip which would have been much easier.
  7. I can only lead you to the water…. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oaq5eLKprOI https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=097JXJe5nsU
  8. Decided to build my own Lithiums so order 8 280AH cells from AliExpress… $914 total and they arrived this week. All 8 voltages were at 3.31. About to leave on a trip so not going to get around to building them. 2 BMS for $120 and another $100 in cables and lugs should do it for a cost of $1134 or $2/AH.
  9. 85 in the drive is plenty and 70 should keep the tires on the rim of the tag. I ran 70 in the tags on my 04 Dynasty for 80K miles.
  10. Drilling it should stop it plus adding gorilla tape… one longer than the crack vertically and several 5” ones horizontally. It’s not going to fall apart and yes, there’s a good chance something else will get it. If you see a dump truck coming at you with the bed up, slowdown and move over as he’s putting out gravel which goes everywhere.
  11. Need to stop smoking and hopefully JB weld will fix the broken plastic part.
  12. I just epoxy a new loop to the end of the old strap where it’s good. If you want to put the new one on… Drill a 5/16” hole in the slot at a angle, near the end so you can push the new plastic end into the slot. Cut the old strap off at the slot and leave what’s left in the slot.
  13. “Scan a list every day” but we’re at day 22 of this thread??? Granted it’s taken several detours from the original… crawling under the MH so what change in the title would you suggest to not waste your time?

    STUCK!

I did find some 2” ones that were rated that much. I was surprised to see they were all braided ones that do not stretch near as much as the 3 strand twisted ones. A full size PU can’t get going fast enough in 100’ to break a 1” nylon rope…I’ve tried.

    STUCK!

Would like to see a picture or link to it…80K bungee. You can’t break a 1” nylon 3 strand 100’ rope with a PU truck starting bumper to bumper … 24K breaking strength.

    STUCK!

I carry a 9” long 6X6 for multiple uses… block for jacking, 9” airbag replacement (I do carry a replacement airbag) and for holding a strap/chain down so it goes under the front cap.
  17. I need the room that the above lights took up to mount 2 more batteries across the back of the engine compartment. Put red reflective tape over the hole and mounted the led strips below to replace the backup lights.
  18. My suggestion was to IR temp the tranny but the teck did that. I would definitely add another cooler before spending $$$ on a new tranny as the temps , while higher than normal, are not that high.
  19. I would suggest if you get test drivers, you do not tell them whether the “improvements” are connected or not. I’m also 77 and still do the 1500 miles to CO in 2 days… 8+ round trips in a 04 Dynasty (80K miles on it) and another 3 in our 08 Navigator. Other than adjusting the TRW boxes, the Dynasty is at 100K miles (still in the family) and the Nav at 70K miles… everything is original. OK, instead of throwing the Safe-T-+ previous owner put on the Nav, I made it adjustable on the fly. Not sure how just adding a tag axle makes such a difference in a rig that wanders, but glad it dies as I love driving the S-10 chassis.
  20. I would look on your tires for max cold psi and weight rating dual and single. More than likely (other than Michelin) any tire chart wit the same max psi and weights will do.
  21. Finally a simple correct answer.
  22. Amazing the different places Monaco put things, even in the same year. 04 Dynasty, it’s in the bathroom.
